SOMETHING ROTTEN on Broadway

My first time on for Nigel. Just a little excited...

What a surreal experience to perform oposite one of my idols: Brian d'Arcy James! Do we look like brothers?

Who in the world could replace BDJ?! This guy, that's who. I loved getting to perform with Rob McClure. He's a walking masterclass.

My second B'Way show with this truly beautiful woman (inside and out). She's also a fellow Northwestern Alum, so we love Catherine Brunell.

End of a long week with our immensely talented (and slightly deranged) dance captain Eric Giancola.

As you can see, my facial hair went through a number of iterations over the course of our run. I think this one was my favorite.

This has got to be the most fun group of people I've ever worked with. I absolutely loved coming to work in this building every day. Here's Hayley Podschun and Beth Johnson Nicely.

They spared no expense with these costumes! Gorgeous designs by Catherine Zuber.

If you're going to eat pizza in a Catherine Zuber tux, be sure to wear a fancy, protective robe.

MARY POPPINS on Broadway

The marquee of the historic New Amsterdam Theatre. I couldn't believe that I got to make my Broadway debut here!

"Step In Time" was one of the most difficult and most rewarding dance numbers I've ever done. Incredible choreography by Matthew Borne and Stephen Mear! The crowd lost their mind every single night.

I'll never forget how exhilarating it was for my family to see my opening night in the show. They always supported me in my dreams of being on Broadway. This night was their success as much as mine.

I got to go on for Robertson Ay quite a lot during my run in the show. Those scenes with Mrs. Brill were so fun!

Why yes, that is a living, dancing, singing statue of a goat man. Two of us went for a jaunty saunter with Bert every night.

The gardeners in the park suddenly become brightly colored when Mary Poppins comes around. Seeing the whole stage change from drab to vibrant was true Broadway magic.

How about these costumes by Bob Crowley?! No expense spared. One might call them supercalifragilisticexpialidocious ... if one were so inclined.

Such a cool experience getting to perform on ABC's "The Chew!" Jesse Swimm and Stephanie Leigh were our Bert and Mary that day, all the way on the left.

The New Amsterdam Theatre hosted campaign event for President Obama on one of our days off during the run. Hearing him speak live was one of the most inspiring experiences of my life.

All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better way to make my debut on Broadway. It's the hardest I've ever worked, and I was so honored to be a part of such a beautiful show.
